Helen Macintyre participated in the Art for Tomorrow Conference in Doha in her role as the consultant to the Pilkington Anglo-Japanese Foundation, a sponsor of the event.
As part of its expanding global conference program, the International New York Times was proud to launch an important new annual event, Art For Tomorrow, to provide a high level forum for debate and to explore the increasing role that the visual arts play in urban development, tourism and globalization.
Under the patronage of Qatar Museums and the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage of Qatar, the conference took place in Doha, a city which is quickly becoming an art and culture capital of the Middle East.
